InnerTrek Training Terms of Service
Effective Date: April 1, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of the InnerTrek Training website, online learning platform, courses, programs, communities, events, educational materials, and related services.
By creating an account, purchasing or enrolling in a program, accessing course content, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.
In these Terms, “InnerTrek,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to InnerTrek Training. “You” and “your” refer to the student, participant, purchaser, account holder, or website visitor.
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase most InnerTrek educational offerings.
Certain programs, retreats, practicums, or regulated in-person experiences may have additional eligibility requirements, including a minimum age of 21, application approval, health or safety screening, professional prerequisites, attendance requirements, or compliance with applicable state laws.
You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information.
Keep your account information current.
Maintain the confidentiality of your login information.
Notify InnerTrek promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Use only your own account and not share course access with another person.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
2. Educational Purpose
InnerTrek provides education and training related to psychedelic facilitation, professional development, ethical practice, harm reduction, personal growth, and related subjects.
Unless a specific program is expressly identified as satisfying the requirements of a particular licensing authority:
InnerTrek courses do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
Enrollment or completion does not guarantee licensure, certification, employment, professional recognition, admission into another program, or the ability to legally provide services.
A certificate of completion recognizes educational participation or completion only.
A certificate is not, by itself, a professional license, practicum certificate, regulated credential, or authorization to provide psilocybin or psychedelic services.
Licensing and regulatory requirements may change. Students are responsible for confirming the requirements that apply in the jurisdiction where they intend to live or practice.
3. No Unlawful Activity or Controlled Substances
InnerTrek does not encourage or authorize unlawful activity.
Online educational content does not include the sale, distribution, delivery, or administration of controlled substances.
Any regulated in-person psilocybin services associated with an InnerTrek program must take place through appropriately licensed providers and premises and in accordance with applicable law. Participation may require separate agreements, screening, informed consent, payments, or other documentation with the licensed provider or facility.
Nothing on the InnerTrek website or learning platform authorizes a student to possess, distribute, administer, recommend, prescribe, or provide any controlled substance or regulated service.
4. Program-Specific Requirements
Programs may include requirements such as:
Applications or admissions approval.
Prerequisite education or professional experience.
Live online attendance.
Self-paced coursework.
Home groups, discussion groups, or supervision.
In-person intensives, retreats, practicums, or experiential components.
Assignments, examinations, evaluations, or feedback forms.
Payment of tuition and other fees.
Professional, behavioral, ethical, or safety standards.
The description, offer letter, enrollment agreement, product page, checkout page, invoice, student handbook, attendance policy, practicum agreement, or other written materials provided for a particular program are incorporated into these Terms.
When a program-specific written policy conflicts with a general provision of these Terms, the program-specific policy controls for that program.
InnerTrek may deny admission, participation, progression, or completion when a person does not satisfy the applicable requirements.
5. Tuition, Fees, and Payments
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and authorize InnerTrek and its payment processors to charge the amounts presented at checkout or included in your enrollment agreement.
Your total cost may include:
Tuition.
Deposits.
Application or registration fees.
Payment-plan or administrative fees.
Practicum or intensive fees.
Materials.
Third-party facility or service fees.
Taxes, where applicable.
Costs not expressly included in tuition, such as travel, lodging, meals, licensing fees, background checks, insurance, medicine purchases, or third-party professional services, are your responsibility.
6. Payment Plans
When you select a payment plan, you authorize the scheduled recurring charges described during enrollment.
You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method. A failed or overdue payment may result in suspension of course access, loss of enrollment, withholding of certificates, or removal from program activities.
Withdrawing from a program does not automatically cancel an outstanding payment obligation. Any adjustment to the remaining balance will be determined under the refund and cancellation terms provided for that program.
Contact InnerTrek promptly if you experience a payment issue. Any alternative arrangement must be approved in writing.
7. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Program-Specific Policies
Because InnerTrek offers different types of programs, including digital education, live cohort programs, intensives, retreats, and practicums, refund and cancellation terms may vary by offering.
The refund terms displayed on the applicable product page, checkout page, offer letter, enrollment agreement, invoice, registration form, or other enrollment materials at the time of purchase are incorporated into these Terms and control for that purchase.
Deposits
A deposit reserves limited program capacity and is refundable only when the applicable program materials expressly state that it is refundable.
When a refundable deposit is offered, the refund request must be received by the stated deadline. After that deadline, the deposit becomes nonrefundable unless otherwise required by law or approved by InnerTrek in writing.
Default Policy When No Separate Policy Is Provided
When no separate refund policy was disclosed for an offering, a purchaser may request a refund within seven calendar days after purchase, provided that the purchaser has not:
Attended a live session or in-person component.
Accessed more than 10% of the digital course content.
Downloaded a substantial portion of the materials.
Received a certificate or continuing education credit.
Begun a practicum, retreat, intensive, or other limited-capacity component.
After the seven-day period or after any of the conditions above occurs, the purchase is nonrefundable.
Transfers and Deferrals
Transfers or deferrals are not guaranteed. InnerTrek may approve a transfer or deferral in writing based on program capacity, timing, administrative requirements, and the circumstances of the request.
A transfer or deferral:
Is not a cash refund.
May be limited to one future offering.
May have an expiration date.
May require payment of a tuition difference or administrative fee.
May be forfeited if the student does not enroll by the stated deadline.
Cancellation by InnerTrek
InnerTrek may cancel, postpone, relocate, or reschedule a program when reasonably necessary due to enrollment, educator availability, facility availability, safety concerns, regulatory developments, emergencies, events outside our reasonable control, or other operational circumstances.
If InnerTrek cancels an entire paid offering and does not provide a reasonable replacement or rescheduled option, the purchaser will receive a refund of the amount paid directly to InnerTrek for the canceled offering.
InnerTrek is not responsible for airfare, lodging, transportation, lost wages, childcare, third-party fees, or other expenses incurred by a student.
Refund Processing
Approved card refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible. Financial institutions may require additional time to post a refund.
Students should contact [email protected] with refund or cancellation questions before initiating a payment dispute so that InnerTrek has an opportunity to review and resolve the matter. This does not limit any rights available under applicable law.
8. Course Access
Course access is provided for the period stated in the applicable program description or enrollment materials.
InnerTrek may establish or change access deadlines, particularly when a learning platform is being retired, content is being updated, or a license with a third-party provider expires.
Students are responsible for completing coursework and downloading any permitted resources before their access deadline. Course videos, recordings, or other protected materials may not be downloaded unless InnerTrek expressly provides a download option.
9. Intellectual Property
All course content and materials are owned by or licensed to InnerTrek and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
This includes:
Videos and recordings.
Presentations.
Manuals and handbooks.
Worksheets and exercises.
Curriculum and lesson structures.
Graphics, photographs, and branding.
Written materials.
Assessments and examination content.
Live-session content.
Educator presentations.
Downloadable resources.
InnerTrek grants you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to access the materials for your own educational use.
You may not:
Copy, reproduce, republish, sell, license, or distribute the materials.
Share your account or course access.
Record live sessions without written permission.
Upload the materials to another platform.
Use the materials to create or teach a substantially similar course.
Remove copyright or ownership notices.
Use InnerTrek’s name, trademarks, or branding in a manner suggesting endorsement or affiliation without permission.
10. Student Contributions and Community Participation
You may have opportunities to submit assignments, comments, discussion posts, testimonials, questions, photographs, or other materials.
You retain ownership of your original content. By submitting content within the learning platform, you grant InnerTrek a limited license to host, store, reproduce, and display it as reasonably necessary to operate the program.
InnerTrek will not use a student’s name, image, testimonial, recording, or personal story for public marketing without any additional permission required by applicable law or an applicable release.
You agree not to submit content that:
Violates another person’s privacy or intellectual property.
Contains confidential client or patient information.
Is threatening, discriminatory, harassing, defamatory, or unlawful.
Promotes unsafe or illegal conduct.
Contains malware or attempts to interfere with the platform.
11. Confidentiality and Respect for Participants
InnerTrek programs may involve personal reflection, sensitive discussions, case examples, small-group participation, or experiential education.
Students agree to respect the privacy of other students, educators, clients, participants, and community members.
You may not record, photograph, screenshot, publish, or share another person’s identity, statements, experiences, health information, or personal story without that person’s express permission.
Professional confidentiality obligations that apply to your occupation or license remain your responsibility.
12. Conduct and Safety
InnerTrek may remove or restrict a student whose conduct:
Creates a safety concern.
Disrupts the learning environment.
Violates confidentiality.
Involves harassment, discrimination, threats, or retaliation.
Violates applicable law or professional ethics.
Involves misrepresentation of credentials or authorization.
Fails to follow educator, facility, practicum, or program instructions.
Places students, staff, educators, clients, or participants at risk.
Removal for a serious conduct or safety violation may occur without a refund, subject to applicable law and any controlling program-specific agreement.
13. Health and Participation Decisions
Some programs may discuss trauma, mental health, altered states of consciousness, psychedelic experiences, or other sensitive topics.
You are responsible for deciding whether participation is appropriate for you and for consulting qualified healthcare professionals when needed.
Participation in any experiential or regulated service may be subject to separate screening and approval. Admission to an educational program does not guarantee eligibility to consume psilocybin or participate in a particular experiential role.
In an emergency, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource. The learning platform is not monitored as an emergency or clinical service.
14. Third-Party Services
InnerTrek may use third-party services for course hosting, payment processing, video conferencing, video hosting, email, forms, scheduling, analytics, document management, or other functions.
Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and privacy policies.
InnerTrek is not responsible for a third-party service’s independent acts, policies, outages, or security practices, except to the extent required by law.
15. Availability and Changes
InnerTrek may update its curriculum, educators, schedules, delivery methods, assignments, learning platforms, locations, or program requirements when reasonably necessary.
InnerTrek does not guarantee uninterrupted access to every platform or feature. We will make reasonable efforts to address material technical problems and communicate significant program changes.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website, platform, programs, and materials are provided “as is” and “as available.”
InnerTrek does not guarantee:
Any particular educational, personal, professional, licensing, financial, health, or employment outcome.
That all content will always be current in every jurisdiction.
Uninterrupted or error-free platform access.
That participation will be appropriate for every person.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InnerTrek and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, educators, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost income, lost opportunities, lost data, travel expenses, or professional consequences arising from use of the services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InnerTrek’s total liability arising from a particular purchase will not exceed the amount paid directly to InnerTrek for that purchase during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
18. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold InnerTrek harmless from third-party claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the services, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or misuse of InnerTrek materials.
19. Suspension and Termination
InnerTrek may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, account misuse, unlawful conduct, safety concerns, intellectual property violations, confidentiality breaches, or other material violations of these Terms.
Provisions concerning payment obligations, intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, liability, and dispute resolution remain in effect after termination.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another jurisdiction’s consumer protection laws must apply.
Before filing a legal claim, the parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter through written communication.
Any legal proceeding that is not subject to a mandatory consumer forum will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Oregon.
21. Changes to These Terms
InnerTrek may update these Terms periodically.
The effective date at the top will be changed when revisions are made. Material changes may also be communicated through the website, learning platform, or email.
Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where additional consent is legally required.
